Emulsion

Stack, blend and transform photographs.

Emulsion stacks photographs and blends them into something new. Add a photo, add another on top, choose how the two mix, then adjust and distort until it becomes yours. Everything runs on the GPU, so the picture keeps up with your finger. No ads, no account, nothing to subscribe to.

Getting help

Questions, bugs and requests are welcome at github.com/scottstout/emulsion/issues. Saying which iPhone and iOS version you are on, and what you were doing at the time, makes a problem far easier to track down.

A few things worth knowing

• The canvas takes its size from the first photo you add. Adding a larger one afterwards asks whether to expand the canvas or crop to fit.
• Adjustments and effects are stored as settings rather than burned into the pixels, so you can change any of them at any time.
• Editing runs against a fast preview; saving renders again at your photo's full size.
• Deleting the last layer clears the canvas so you can start something new.
