Emulsion · last updated 26 July 2026
Emulsion collects nothing. It has no analytics, no accounts, no advertising and no third-party tracking. It contains no networking code at all, so your photos cannot leave your device through it.
Photos you bring into Emulsion are read from your photo library through the system picker and stay on your device. Work in progress is stored inside the app's own private storage so it survives closing the app, and is removed when you start a new picture or delete the app.
Emulsion asks only for permission to add photos to your library, which it uses when you tap Save. It never requests permission to read your library: the system picker hands the app only the photos you choose.
None. No personal data, no usage data, no diagnostics, no identifiers.
Emulsion is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
